नई दिल्ली: भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (आईएमडी) सोमवार को बताया कि मानसून सामान्य गति से आगे बढ़ रहा है और अगले दो दिनों में इसके दिल्ली पहुंचने की संभावना है. मौसम विज्ञान कार्यालय ने इसके साथ ही 11 और 12 जून को दिल्ली में और अगले पांच दिनों तक चेन्नई व केरल में मूसलाधार बारिश (205.4 मिलीमीटर से अधिक) की चेतावनी दी है.

गौरतलब है कि देश में वार्षिक बारिश में 70 प्रतिशत बारिश मानसूनी हवाओं से होती है और इसे कृषि आधारित अर्थव्यवस्था के लिए जीवनरेखा माना जाता है.

आईएमडी के वैज्ञानिक आर. के. जेनामणि ने बताया कि मानसून ने 29 मई को केरल तट पर दस्तक दी और 31 मई से सात जून के बीच दक्षिण एवं मध्य अरब सागर, पूरे केरल, कर्नाटक और तमिलनाडु के कुछ हिस्सों में पहुंच गया था.

जेनामणि ने पत्रकारों से कहा, ‘‘ मानसून में कोई विलंब नहीं है. अगले दो दिनों में इसके महाराष्ट्र पहुंचने की संभावना है और उसके बाद के दो दिनों में पूरे मुंबई में मानसून पहुंच जाएगा."..read more..
